Action

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) in a stabilised molecular structure with glucose (L-Ascorbic Acid-2 Glucoside), at a concentration of 20%. When AA2G comes into contact with skin, the a-glucosidase enzyme of the epidermis cleaves the bond of vitamin C with glucose and induces a gradual release of vitamin C. The specific molecular structure of AA2G protects vitamin C from oxidation and its mode of gradual release provides higher efficiency in its proven effects. It suppresses melanin formation in melanocytes and decreases the amount of pre-existing melanin. It promotes collagen formation in fibroblasts. It reduces free radicals, erythema and swelling caused to the skin by sunlight. It reduces expression lines and wrinkles.
